A popular Sage – In a village near Haridwar

Story of a sage, who was quite popular among people and the people run down to his feet for blessings and guidance.

I was on my leave from my work and my mama (mother’s brother) told me about him, took me to meet him and asked me to greet him.

I am not someone to be pleased very easily, so I wanted to first understand the sage’s caliber, only there after I node to him. My mama was with me when we went to meet him, he told Giri baba that I want to predict his future, to which he denied saying that he’s a sadhu and he’s beyond the material world.

Seeing his face, I asked him to show me his palm to just try it out for me. Reading him along with his kundali, studying his palm, I observed that he is not a very nice person himself. I had to tell him that he is a selfish sage and sitting here for some purpose. Listening to my observations, naturally, everyone else in that room was upset with me.

Yes I also told him that he will be jailed soon as part of my prediction.

Few days went by, I’d rejoin Army duty, it was the year 1999 and I had forgotten all about this matter. Then one day I received news that baba Giri has been arrested on murder charges of another sage because of encroachment of temple land.

Some people remembered my prediction and have since been working with me to assist them in their spiritual journey.

This is not a self-appraisal attempt, but to tell you that only after this I gained huge confidence in what I believed in then and now, opened me up to serve people in their spiritual journey.
